Domestic Violence Training
The SAFE Shelter Outreach Program offers special domestic violence training to area businesses, agencies and day care providers:
"When Domestic Violence Comes to Work" outlines the liability issues and what it costs businesses when domestic violence leaves the home and enters the workplace.
Domestic violence training for area day care providers addresses how to recognize behaviors that could indicate a child is living in a violent home; how to access resources for non-offending parents; and how children are affected by violence in the home. This training also provides two hours of Department of Human Resources training credit.
To schedule either one of these training sessions, call the Outreach Program at 651-0004.
